  • 1 cup uncooked white rice (or 3 cups pre-cooked)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional)

 

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare Rice: Cook rice according to package directions or use pre-cooked rice.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Sauté onion and garlic in butter or olive oil.
  • Steam Broccoli: Add broccoli and steam until tender-crisp.
  • Combine: Add chicken and rice to skillet and stir.
  • Cheesy Sauce: Stir in milk and cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Season: Add salt, pepper, and optional seasonings.
  • Optional: Top with extra cheese and melt.
